Missing Sydney

Once again, Sydney is on my mind. A few days before my departure, a special outing was planned by my daughter-in-law and grandchildren. We drove to catch the train from Hurtsville Grove to the city and then we hopped on the ferry to Manly Beach, Sydney, NSW, AU. The city was celebrating Chinese New Year. It was on a Saturday, February 17, 2018.

Now that I've decompressed from my long visit to New York City, it's time to start shopping for some cheap flights. My younger sister who lives in the U K has already booked her flight to Sydney for May 8, 2020. We are planning to visit my older son, his wife and my grandchildren. It's Almost Spring in Sydney

I am recalling my very first trip to Sydney in Sept/Oct 2013. It was an awesome experience especially as my grandchildren live in Sydney with my son and daughter-in-law. The first thing I did as soon I got off the plane at Kingsford Smith International Airport and got through Customs was: stopped at a restaurant to drink very, very, very hot tea which I definitely missed on my flight from Los Angeles (approximately 13 hours).
